Who Are Team Lets Go Racing?

Team Lets Go Racing is a group of volunteers from an eclectic mix of professional backgrounds, with absolutely no motor racing pedigree whatsoever!

However, what we do have is a determination, focus and drive to succeed. We are going to put all our energies into raising money for St. Luke’s Hospice and if we have anything left in the tank come race day, finish in pole position for them too.

For us, it is also about contributing to local events and bringing people together to make shared memories, swapping smiles & having fun.

Team Lets Go Racing For St’ Luke’s Cheshire Hospice, needs your help again!

Our beloved Soapbox, ‘Scrappy-Doo’ made entirely from unwanted donations to St Luke’s, and lovingly turned into a race machine by volunteers at the charity led by engineering boffin Peter Lewis, is being retired and looking for a new home!

Scrappy-Doo was restored by Marshall for Crewe Krazy Races 2024, and fully serviced and made race-worthy by Crewe’s Community Recycle Cycles including all new disc brakes and pads, brake cables and Tyres.

So to save Scrappy from the scrapheap, we’ve decided to put him up for auction! Details of the auction are still be finalized, but for the moment we need to display him in all his glory, and are looking for a suitable showroom.

Scrappy and the Lets Go Racing Team are revved up and ready to make some big noise for any local car manufacturers or shops willing to temporarily kennel Scrappy until auction day, and allow the public to see him.
